Mission Statement

AFA is composed of parents and other community members who had an interest in improving and assisting the Alameda youth football program. AFA’s primary purpose is to support Alameda youth by teaching football, as well as positive life lessons. The objective of AFA shall be to teach our youth the game of football in a positive way in which good sportsmanship is the first priority. The purposes of the AFA are to create, develop and maintain a full-service football program, providing playing and training opportunities, coaching, instruction, and learning opportunities while offering football program administration for boys and girls of all ages in underserved areas in and around the city of Alameda.
